The “Cone puck” was conceived and engineered specifically to thwart any type of frontal drilling attack. The cone is especially effective when the puck is situated in a recessed housing that forces the attacker to use longer length drill bits. The UCS-9S has special tapped holes on the back allowing the user to affix this padlock directly to a gate, a door, or anything that swings open. Mounting this padlock to the hasp means no more lost padlocks because the operator forgot about it!
